Hmm, I wonder if it could be assholes like the original OP buying up real estate, only using it a couple of weekends a year, only spending their money at the massive out of state owned conglomerate ski resort, and then driving back to New York.

Uvm really has lost its charm too. Burlington is kinda going downhill fast, the university is over enrolled and every aspect of the school is overcrowded which puts a huge strain on the housing market. The new administration seems to focus on maximum profit at the expense of student safety/services... not to mention department cuts with higher ups in the school getting pay raises. 30 year professors/researchers are getting payed 3x less than administrators in charge of mitigating lawsuits due to sweeping sexual assault under the carpet.

As long as it’s not a Trumpism obsessed Republican I am fine with that. I think of him as one of the good guys, level headed and willing to compromise.

I took an ornithology class in college and asked my professor about his thoughts on bird feeders. According to him, biologists are trying to get the public to stop using bird feeders since they are such a heavy vector for disease. So many new emerging diseases in wildlife with climate change.
