Tails of the City Pet Care are amazing. They also stop by to meet you beforehand.

Reply to Where do I find country ham? by All_Vol_19
Not local but any Waffle House has surprisingly delicious country ham (we go to the one in Damascus).
Also, you can have Calhoun’s (https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100036645439856) shipped to you. As another poster mentioned, they usually have someone at the Old Town Alexandria farmer’s market every Saturday selling it, too. They sell whole hams, pre-sliced bone in & sandwiches. It’s so good & their ham has been served at the White House. If you have a car & are looking to get out of the city, highly recommend a trip out to Culpepper. They have a humble, no nonsense little store. There’s a cool brewery nearby & the town is adorable. It’s great for a day trip.

I’ll probably get downvoted but I really love cemeteries & love Oak Hill Cemetery in Georgetown. It’s huge, there’s lots of green space & it’s so peaceful. It’s just simply very lovely. Checkout the reviews & pics on Google.

Just chiming in to also say the way people are dressed really runs the spectrum, so long as you aren’t at either extreme. I feel like many women tend to dress up, especially because it’s the holidays, and many men are in business smart attire. We’re also seeing Wicked but on NYE. Hope you & yours have a wonderful time!

Thai X-ing. You pay a fixed price & they bring out dishes made from the day’s best looking ingredients. You can also specify any dietary restrictions.
