"There's someone for everyone" is such a lie. Have you met some people? Not everyone is suited to relationships. And some people are very suited and have lots of potential someones.

This is like when people tell kids they can be anything they want when they grow up.

When I was growing up the popular wisdom was our reasoning sets us apart. I'd argue that it's actually our suppression of urges and behaviors that sets us apart.
