All around Cherry Hill (in Camden County), there are tons of tiny boroughs and some have areas that are nice and affordable enough to look into. My suggestion would be to set your searches in any of those and use your parameters on the site you're using to keep the high end shit out (so no Haddonfield or Collingwood, and probably no Merchantville since all the houses have been converted into Duplexes etc). As another commenter there are heavy Trumper areas, but not bad enough to not make a home there.

I went to school at SUNY New Paltz and stayed for a few years after. Absolutely stunning in the Hudson Valley. Lots of hiking trails. It's a great place to relax, especially in the fall. If you want to see something that'll blow your mind, go there during the first few weeks of autumn. Jaw dropping colors. Anyway, highly recommend Bear Mountain, Storm King art exhibit and flying drones over/ canoeing over to Bannerman Island off the coast of Newburgh to anyone interested.

You would be shocked what people order and how far away they order it from. I deliver on the weekends. One time I picked up a fountain soda (and nothing else) at a pizza place and had to drive it 10 miles. You read that correctly.

The staff was joking that they used to have a glitch where it was part of a combo deal and if you'd remove part of it, you'd still get everything at only the cost of the drink. They suppose the guy tried to do it and didn't realize it didn't work and he ended up with just a fountain drink.

For the love of God, don't do this. People leave too big of a gap as it is and it ends up blocking access to turn lanes when you're further back. Super annoying if you manage to get past it and see people leaving spaces between cars that you could safely parallel park in.

I lived in Cherry Hill/other parts of Camden County for 10 years and can't agree enough. 130 is great if you want to get your adrenaline pumping because people who drive on it are nuts. But I'll add 295 is nice when it's not rush hour or having construction.

I'm outside of Jersey currently (aka pumping own gas) and the kiosks always ask for a PIN. My guess is that people working pumps up there just instinctively know to hit the bypass button real quick and that he hadn't been trained yet.

My mother was a special ed teacher and retired a few years ago. The school district has been asking her to come back and sub part time ever since but she wanted to just enjoy retirement with my dad. Unfortunately, he passed away 4 months ago and she's gotten bored and lonely so she took them up. Apparently they're so desperate, she's making nearly as much per hour as a sub as when she left.

That's been my experience in MD. I can't just go anywhere and expect it be decent. I've asked locals for help and then I realized that their taste in pizza is not the same as mine. I've had more than one person tell me Papa John's and every other chain you can think of. They really like this stuff called Ledo, which consists of cracker crust, ketchup esque sweet sauce and undercooked provolone on top..they think that's good pizza. It feels so defeating.

I totally get you with the burb issue though. At least you can take the bridge over. There's lots of good pizza in Cherry Hill.

Vodka sauce is great and it amazes me how many people don't know about it. I'm from NJ and a couple of the pizzerias by me had it as a sauce option and that shit was legit. Been missing it since moving to MD where the pizza and I don't exactly get along. Anyway, if you make your own pizza, I suggest trying it!
