If you are downtown and the partner is MGH, you will be fine. We've lived in the North End for 20 years and commute 15 min each way walking to work. If I need to get around the city, I walk or take the T. I only drive to get out of the city. Before we got a car, I did zipcar, which was $$$. Now if I need an SUV or something I rent last minute at Logan Airport and it's pretty affordable. Last week I rented a hybrid SUV and the cost was $130 for two days plus $12 in gas (I drove 200 miles on 1/3 of a tank)

Agree. Before we got our car, we walked + T + ubered and it was less than a parking spot ($400/mo at the commercial street garage)

Depends where you need to get to. The T isn't great these days, but traffic is pretty bad. If you don't need to drive a lot, I'd sell the car.

I’d go there for raw ingredients. The salumerias are really good, as are the bakeries and wine shops. Alba produce has amazing produce. Like really, really good. For non Italian, Tenoch Mexican is really good. There are a couple of good restaurants but I don’t really eat out here (or anywhere).

You know, I kind of get it. I shared a tandem spot with a jeep and it was really easy to back out, even without the backup camera. Here I was thinking I have skills… But it’s so big for street parking and it must use a lot of fuel

Steriti rink north end of you don’t mind a million foreign college kids who can’t skate either clinging to the boards or bumbling around going the wrong directions. I love it anyway. Freeeeeeeee if you have your own skates.

Yes. We left the airport at midnight. So we couldn’t call for an appointment. Went to cvs at 7 am to get passport pics and went straight from there to the tip O’Neill building and stood in line.

8 am. I bought a ticket on Expedia that I could cancel within 24 hours in case I couldn’t get the passport. Need proof of travel

No. Just showed up at the crack of dawn. We stopped off at cvs to get photos and the stood in line.

When this happened to us we went to the tip O’Neill building with passport photos at 7 am the next morning. With proof of travel we got the passport by 4 pm and flew out that night. That was 2017
