I didn’t know Australia has native placental mammals besides bats.

Give them sardines instead of endangered turtle. It’s a once a year event so I don’t think any species relies on it like Bears gorging on salmon for the winter.

I’ve always wondered if Sea Turtles are endangered why we don’t gather up like 1000 babies and escort them past the beach and shallows and let like half of them survive. We could repopulate the numbers pretty quick.

I’m sure there’s a significant amount of sunk cost built in these numbers. The systems being used would still be costing money while idle. Missiles don’t get replaced by the single missile used. If the whole budget needs to be reworked because new balloons need to be shot at regularly that’s one thing; but a single event isn’t going to register on the bottom line.

Then things seem pretty similar. There’s not much security at small stadiums, like 5000 people or less. There’s a ton of security when it’s a major pro stadium.

I loved him in the late 90s. But he’s really gone nutty. So did Corolla. Hating taxes is a hell of a motivator I guess.
