Reply to comment by Mode3 in TIL Paul McCartney's 1984 soundtrack album Give My Regards to Broad Street featured a member of the Beatles, Led Zeppelin (John Paul Jones), AND Pink Floyd (David Gilmour). The album reached #1 in the UK but was not a critics' favorite. by A-dab
His 1980 b-side "Check My Machine" sounds exactly like something Gorillaz would have recorded in the early 2000's.

Reply to comment by tannieth in TIL "Hey Jude" evolved from the song "Hey Jules" which Paul McCartney wrote for John Lennon's son, Julian, to comfort him while Lennon and his wife were getting separated, He recorded first part of the song on his way to Cynthia and Julian in his Car with a recorder installed in his car's dashboard. by Knight_TheRider
It seems that most of the Beatle children are close with each other. Sean Lennon, James McCartney, and Dhani Harrison are all good friends, and Dhani described Mary and Stella McCartney as being like big sisters to him. The McCartney and Starkey children also seem to be close, as well. No doubt the fact that they're the few people who've grown up with a Beatle as a father gives them something they can easily bond over.

Considering the end result of it all, that doesn't surprise me in the least.
