Reply to comment by wjbc in ELI5 what is the benefit of a charter school vs regular public schools? How do they differ? by [deleted]
Some charter schools are unionized, though many are not. Typically the draw of charter schools are that they are not the local public school. That is to say if a family lives somewhere where the public school is less than stellar, parents often choose charter schools as a “free” alternative to the public school. Some states have also invested heavily in charter schools, often to the detriment of public schools (see PA). This means charter schools have to compete for students, being run like businesses with marketing teams and multiple locations.

If you enjoyed the show you’ll like the books even more. They start with Persepolis Rising and are written by James S A Corey if you’d like to look them up at your local bookshop. By far May favorite series with fast paced writing that gets just enough detail and IMO a solid grasp on what zero G warfare would look like as well as a compelling political backdrop.

Modern devices have both overcharge and undercharge protections built in to prevent things like this from damaging the battery. You’re fine and it will make no difference at all.

Make sure you’ve tamped or rolled the soil. Just tossing dirt in a hole does not fill it, next time it rains it’ll settle and you’ll get a big muddy dip in the yard that nothing will grow in.
In terms of covering it it depends on where you are located right now. It’s really too late to plant grass seed in most of the cooler areas of the US (it needs about two weeks to sprout and another couple weeks to establish before a frost). Looks like it may be warmer there so you may be fine. A bag of local grass seeds from the big box store, put it down a bit heavier than the instructions and lightly rake it in. Cover with straw and keep damp until it sprouts, after about two weeks after sprouting reduce watering to only a couples times a week to promote deeper root growth.
It’s also worth figuring out why your dig dug the hole though, otherwise it’s likely they will just do it again.

Reply to comment by CashierHound in PSA for mail voters: be careful with the two envelopes! by CashierHound
Honestly I think just a tiny amount of critical thinking could save you a ton of trouble. One envelope is basically blank, the other contains an address for it to be mailed. Which would you think needs to be in the outside?
Also, maybe read all the instructions before getting started. I’ll agree that they could have been more clear in general (a numbered list would grade been nice) but the overall process is pretty straightforward.

I’m fairly introverted and honestly get a ton more work done from home due to fewer distractions. I do sometimes miss the social interaction but going in once a week is usually enough for me.

IT work, I go in the office one day a week and get every other Friday off. I also take surface streets from home (Wilkins/Churchill area) to work (West Mifflin) so there’s that too.

Yes, but a half dozen within half an hour? That’s a bit beyond “it happens”
