Brick buildings at the time these were erected would have also been called an eyesore and not fitting with the "historic" look. Mass produced brick allowed for cheaper, mass-produced homes to come up and replace the older buildings, and we should be doing the same instead of holding onto an outdated building form factor.
In 2021, 117 people died in car collisions per day on average for a total of 42,915 car related fatalities that year. I would be surprised if this storm lowered that daily number.

Is this true or just feels? A conservative court can strike down anything it wants, as we've seen with the SCOTUS, on a whim so why would they allow a slightly-leaning (D) map when they could also strike it down?
