The reason would be to keep being able to play your Xbox games that don’t have Smart Delivery, which I think are most games except exclusives.

And yes, basically Steam Link is like Xbox remote play. Steam is a store that sells videogames, so steam link only allows you to play games bought on their platform. There are other alternatives for streaming your PC to another device though, many of them but you’ll end up using Steam to buy your games, everyone does on PC.

You can play from your PC on a tablet or another TV through a myriad of services like Steam Link. As to your Xbox console games being available on PC, that depends. If you buy physical games, those obviously won’t work, and if you buy digital they’ll work on your PC IF they have what Xbox calls Smart Delivery, which is basically a cross platform copy of the game that works on Xbox One , Series console or PC. Otherwise you’ll have to buy the games again.

This is great for feeding my ever growing health anxiety. I’ll take three to use in the same bowl because I won’t believe I’m fine without further validation.

I wonder how I’ll make time to check this every second between checking my heart rate on my Apple Watch every second though. It’s gonna be a tough one for sure.
