The "warranty" is unwritten on the site.
So, the best thing that the OP could do would be to shoot out an e-mail on how their board died from ESD. Probably they can consider sending a PCB or something.

Is it an addiction when you literally make money using them? Or does it make me a pusher?

There's an old post on GeekHack that might be slightly less risky compared to this.
Bend the center leaf after opening up the switch. Fixed the chattering for me without actually risking the hotswap sockets themselves.

A reason that I don't really disagree on the sandy linear as a nickname for the switch.

The easy part is just stop.
To be honest, the collecting and FOMO part is a turn-off after 3+ years.
On the flip side, the collecting part had been somewhat more accessible, particularly with the KBDFans. I myself won't be dipping deep here on the hindsight if I don't make money while typing on keyboards most of the time.

Here I am feeling satisfied with only Unicomp's buckling springs despite my history of using tactile (for 3+ years) and (recently) linear switches.
Just RTFM'd and took me far too long to realize that buckling springs and beamsprings are simply different.
