To add:

Free up your sink and dishwasher before you start cooking.

Prep as many ingredients as you can ahead of time.

Plan out your utensil usage. If you know what measuring cups, tongs, pots, knives, etc you will need, get them out before you start.

Then as you’re done with things you can wipe/rinse and toss into the dishwasher, and after dinner the remaining dishes can be loaded and ran. Nobody needs to spend an hour cleaning after a good meal, relax and enjoy the evening.

Me and my spouse cook a LOT plus we have a kid. We run our dishwasher daily if not twice daily. In the summer when we host gatherings and have heavy BBQing days it makes cleanup so much easier to plan a little ahead.

I get irrationally upset when I see people toss their butts out the window while driving. No, you sit with that nasty ass butt in your car now you piece of shit, this isn’t the rest of the worlds problem. Your habit your responsibility.
