Boston has had a 4-maximum rule like this since 2008. There was renewed interest in enforcement after an overcrowded apartment burned down and a student died (Binland Lee).

Pretty sure those other things have already been the law for a while.

The only sensible way to write this policy is right of first refusal on behalf of the charity.
Otherwise, the charities will become inadvertent waste haulers dealing with more food than they can distribute.

It sounds like a demolition impact hammer to me. I’ve been hearing it this week after 11p, so I assumed it’s the highway construction closing lanes at night and going to town.

Can you get FIOS? For a new install, they run an ethernet line from the ONT in the basement to one location in the customer's home. And it's better service anyway.
edit: I think there is an important "why?" missing here. Does the landlord no longer tolerate the aesthetics of outside wires? Were they cleaning up wires they thought were unused?

FIOS 300/300 for $50 a month is the standard offer and definitely exists on the site.
