My dad passed away 9 years ago on this day. He was 54. Cancer sucks. Got Mr. Submarine for lunch though and that’s somehow making me feel a little better

As a former New Yorker with a job that often had me starting work at 7 or 8pm, I got so used to walking by a coffee spot and grabbing a shot of espresso on my way in to work. Sadly, not here. I decided to save up for a year and just recently got my own espresso machine. 10/10 would recommend. All the good coffee shops here close at 2 or 3 pm (other than the Blanchards on broad)

I love Ashland. I’d live there in a second but it’s just as expensive as the West End these days

I just got mine done there last week and it was $20. Which is totally fine. But I always go there or Fritz’s because they are walking distance to me.

You can buy it at the restaurant but I think cash only. Rana is a person and works as a server at the Fan location
