Consider also that there is a larger than average population of immigrants from Europe in Cambridge working in rech/biotech/academia, and we brought our car preferences with us.
Side note, I'm surprised you didn't mention Subaru, ever other car is a Subaru on our street

Reply to comment by AlphaMetroid in English company Oxitec has released a simple, easy to distribute commercial product they say cuts Dengue Fever spreading mosquito populations by 96%. By just adding water, genetically modified mosquito eggs mature into males whose sperm cannot result in viable female larvae. by lughnasadh
The mosquitoes that transmit malaria are less easy to manipulate genetically, and their eggs can't be dried in the same way as they're way less hardy than dengue mosquito's eggs. So Oxitec started with the easier job, forugoid reason. Also there's way more commercial viability for anti-dengue interventions for all sorts of reason's.

Reply to Can landlords ask about your job? by The_other_one_2275
We encountered this last year when we were apartment hunting. MA lead laws are meant to protect kids but in practice mean that families with children are simply ignored in favor of other applicants. The burden is on the landlord to remediate for lead, and since their not even willing to pay for their own realtors in this town - putting the burden on leasees instead - they're certainly not interested in that.
We ended up not disclosing unless the apartment was newly renovated or there were children in situ already. Huge issue that's underreported
