Not sure if you’re joking because I hear the same things about Woonsocket. But I actually visited not too long ago and had a good time

I don’t think that is necessarily a hard and fast rule, you can also just live somewhere uncool/undesirable. Which I don’t mind. I’m just trying to save for a house so as little money blown on rent as possible is ideal

Thanks! I grew up lower-middle class and it is disheartening to hear people over exaggerate how bad economically depressed areas are. Just because people aren’t rich somewhere doesn’t mean the area doesn’t have redeeming value. I am more concerned about actual danger than I am “trashiness”

I guess so but there are definitely places I wouldn’t feel safe walking by myself at night, that’s what I’m trying to get a sense of

Lmao! I would say I have a relatively high tolerance for sketch factor, but depends what kind. Shootings and break ins, definitely want to avoid that…weirdos wandering, needing to wear earplugs, I can handle myself. I am a single woman so I just don’t want to be somewhere I’ll need to be concerned walking around by myself.
