Quing Japanese-style smooth ceramic individual toothbrush holder takes up little room and can be cleaned by swiping with alcohol on a cotton ball occasionally or probably just wiped out daily or put in the dishwasher weekly.

I just Googled that and they are available online now. What a great idea for a quality belt. I hope they are still as good. I’ve been looking for decent replacement belts for years and years.

I’ve had mine since the 1990s and bought a family member some in 2016. So far, so good! Hope they are still as good of quality.

Well, both are true in different ways. The dust would get trapped in the wool rug as it drifted down out of the air, but then when you walk on or vacuum the rug, a bit of dust will be stirred up. In a perfect world, you’d have bare wood floors that you vacuumed daily with a HEPA filtered vacuum. You could have cotton throw rugs if you washed them in a sanitary cycle twice a week. A good compromise is the good wool area rugs that you vacuum weekly.

It probably didn’t make it, but there was a high-end oven a decade or so ago that was also a fridge. You could put your food in it in the morning and program it to switch to baking at a certain time so that you would come home to a ready meal. I thought it was brilliant, but too expensive to be practical.

Comfort Colors. I found some plain ones on Amazon, although availability is inconsistent.

I found a hooded black full-length high-fill goose down Anne Klein coat years ago that works very well. It works for snow but not rain. I wouldn’t know where to find one today, but something similar or a wool-lined Burberry trench coat could be found second-hand still.

A relative of mine in the industry swears by Trane still.
