Just a clarifying point that I THINK some are missing here: This is regarding the -state- constitution, not the US Constitution.

At this point, wait until January. When there hasn't been thick snowfall for a couple days, go with microspikes and gaiters for a beautiful view without the crowds. (Unless you want to do it after a fresh snowfall w/ snowshoes!)
Plenty of other hikes to do that will be enjoyable without the popularity until winter.
