Lay the fitted sheet flat on floor with scrunchy part up. Fold about 10" from the edge, repeat until you have a long 10 to 12" strip. Dont worry about being totally flat. Now fold this until you have a roughly 12" square.

Repeat with flat sheet.

Then stack with one pillow cover and put into other pillow cover.

This is the martha Stewart method and i consider it the gold standard.

I found it faster and less steps. Pulling the utensils out of tray is basically one or two at a time and slowed down because of watching out for fork tines and knife points. Once on counter you can grab say 4 or 5 forks at a time. Ended up about half as much movement and about half time as the old way. Granted it's only about 15 seconds time savings twice a week, but i thought it was cool.
