There’s something to be said about the building not accounting for the noise level in the unit adjacent to the trash compactor. A lot of these newer “luxury” apartments are built with paper thin walls and noise pollution is a major concern for most people. I think it’s reasonable to expect better from companies charging luxury prices.

For the major ones like Women's March or March for Our Lives, you could sign up to activist newsletters which would advertise those events (probably something like Everytown).

But if walk around around Embassy Row long enough, especially in good weather, you're bound to run into one eventually.

I once put the wrong zone because I parked kind of in between two park mobile zones, and just typed in the number on the first sign I saw. Of course it was the wrong one, but DC still waived the ticket since I proved that I paid for the time and that the signs were a bit confusing.

Their happy hour is pretty generous. I think it's like $5 well drinks and select drafts. They also have sandwiches in the $8 range that come with a bag of chips, and their more substantial food is still less than $15. The place is never that busy, but lively enough that it doesn't seem empty or awkward. They also have games, pool tables, and I think ping pong?
