I dunno have you ever slowed down in hokas?
Salomon’s are great. The outback has goretex and is really breathable and scratch scuff resistant I think Kevlar maybe?

For that sweet sweet fit that never binds or bunches. As a long distance runner that never gets blisters or any other foot malady caused by inferior socks I swear by them and they still keep you warm when you get them wet well below freezing

Sorry I must not have been clear. I was making fun of OP for claiming that some unrecognizable brand outside of a region compares with Toyota in any way like a Jansport.

I literally opened this thread to say that's not a Jansport.

I had one of the early Discman that got sat on hard and it couldn’t pick the disc up enough to spin it without scraping but if you turned that fucker upside down it would still play without skipping on the school bus

If you can find the the mid high speedgoat goretex are perfect snow runners and the ora recovery slides are like heaven at home.
If I'm not running on real trails I like running in hoka, but walking in them is a no. Basically this was a long winded way to agree with OP
