The unique fauna here goes back further, it's a result of the breakup of Pangaea, then Gondwana.

There's no lead in jet fuel.
Leaded fuel is only in Avgas used by piston engine aircraft. It poses similar dangers as lead did in vehicle fuel. Google your question and you'll turn up any number of studies.
