"Thanks to the vaccine." Haaa- I hadn't heard that one in a while. For me, it wasn't that bad, fever for two days and feeling good in few days. No jabs.
Most cases of covid without vaccines are the same as you described or even fewer symptoms. Most of my vaxxed friends/family had much worse cases than my covid bouts with no vax.

Hardly anyone knew what RSV was until this year. For people over the age of two, it is a cold. Kids get sick. Kids get high fevers. Rest and fluids. It doesn't matter if it's called RSV, the flu, covid. All the same treatment for a kid.

No one is going to stay home until you're "symptom free." When you're at you're sickest, you should stay home like if you have a fever. But if you have a cough or sniffle afterwards as your illness improves, I would expect people to be back to their normal lives.

No. You are right. I must have read your post too quickly.

Do a quick tick check if it's above freezing. It's going to be in the 50s later this week. Ticks take a while to really latch on and take your blood. If it's just on you, pull it off with tweezers and make sure you get the head if it's attached. If it's full of blood (full as a tick...) I would get the prescription stuff, but it takes a long time for the tick to get to that point, over 8 hours I'm sure.

What's it matter what the virus you have is called? Why would you need to test your kids for the flu? I am not understanding the need. Thanks.

So you stayed home from Christmas because of a sore throat? Yikes.

Correct. All kids have boogers and have runny noses either during a cold or when improving from an illness. So yes, Booger McGee should go to school. Do you have kids? Your comments seem incongruent with raising young children.

Yeah, the boogers thing the person mentioned is stupid. Lots of kids have congestion or runny noses. They don't need to stay home for that.

Correct. First need to be fever free. But also need to be functioning and can make it through a day of school without being a zombie.

New England had the highest electricity rates in the country before any of the inflation kicked in. We are also repeatedly against new pipelines and power plants in the area. Lower supply, higher costs. It always comes back to supply and demand.

Lookup the Facebook post from Diane Loud, Dedham Human Rights Committee member. It is vile, hateful, divisive, and insults Christians. Turtleboy has the scoop. I don't care what you think of Turtleboy, but this woman is crazy and full of hate.
Diane Loud refers to God as a "magic sky daddy."
Diane Loud says to the Christmas tree supporters: "fuck you, you pieces of trash. I hate each and every one of you and I do wish great suffering on you."

Yeah? Did you read the response from the Human Rights Commission member from Dedham? She was also "thanked" for her services when she promptly resigned after the post went public. The post is so vile and hateful towards Christians. Her name is Diane Loud. And no one in the media cared.

Perhaps because they kept their kids more isolated in the past couple of years and missed getting it. I have multiple kids and haven't given RSV a second thought. Every person in the US has usually had it by age 2.
