I consume books dramatically faster in audio format. I don't even try to read long books in print anymore unless there is no other option.

I love stories about interesting people, places, and events. Real or imagined. Books can deliver these stories in a way that other mediums can't.

Depends on the type of book series. If it's a grand high fantasy series I tend to agree. More episodic series like Bernard Cornwell books I don't care because they may never be finished but a new book added here or there doesn't really change the series.
