I moved to Highlandtown a little over 2 years ago. I really enjoyed the park being a block away (I have 3 pups). Also being able to walk to local bars/Fells Point (Fells Point if you don't mind walking 20mins). Sally O's and Johnny Rads are also close by. However, make sure to lock your car doors and possibly put up a cam for the front and back door. I experienced package theft and car break ins along with other weird things. Before I started parking in the back of the house me and two of my neighbors got nails put in our tires? Not sure if it was a crazy coincidence but we all called tow trucks that morning. Then me and my next door neighbor had our cars broken into AFTER forgetting to lock our doors (the incidents happened months apart), so don't be like us. Nothing was stolen or vandalized thank god. Then we had the occasional weirdo looking to steal whatever wasn't tied down, looking into cars. I just wanted to bring this up cuz while the place is amazing and I VERY much enjoyed living there I feel like people never mention these things (better to be prepared). We are now located in Canton which we like, but we do miss the park being right there.
