Food is definitely a notch or two higher than you'd expect.

OP almost certainly has the norovirus - which I myself got a couple weeks ago and at first confused for food poisoning as well until it lingered for a bit. It's really going around right now.

They are fantastic - typically crowded when they are open. Some of the best scrambled eggs on a bun around. I do find it odd they're paying for that location (which once housed the og prato, I think) with such limited hours, but wonder if it's a production thing and they're relatively maxed out in what they can make. They certainly sell through it quick as far as I've seen.

Love venti and Little Sandwich Shop, and taqueria downtown a block away also is pretty affordable - couple tacos won't run you too much, and you can even still get a flauta plate or enchiladas <$12

My guy, Razza and Dan Richer both have a national following, especially for the dough/crust. Goes way beyond just the positive times review, and it ain't just a JC hype thing. Maybe you don't know quite as much as you think you do.

Newer spot and yea - it's absolutely an elevated experience. One of the best meals, and cocktails, that I've had in JC/Hoboken.

Yup this is exactly what they do, and it's really not too hard to snag when they release - and man, is it worth it. Given how ridiculously light their pies are they are worth getting fresh out the oven vs delivery or even take home, where, while still great, they cool off pretty fast
