I loved it. It was a tour de force by Mcavoy. I was captivated by his performance (excuse the pun). Great tension, some fascinating concepts and I liled that they didn’t make the girls weaklings. I didn’t like the ending as it killed the grounded tension for me - is this all just madness or is there something more?

Reply to This is an excerpt from Cixin Liu's book "The Dark Forest", describing what happens to people when they lose all hope in Humanity by RobleViejo
It sounds a full on book. But I like exploring these subjects. You can see how scared people are of looking in the dark sometimes. Kālī is both destroyer and creator. If the world ends it will be for something new to be born. Sometimes things do end.

Reply to I Put A Spell On You (1958) by Screamin' Jay Hawkins is one of the most ahead-of-it's-time recordings ever. by Okaybrothatsdope
It’s wild and so much fun. He really leans into that voodoo vibe. It borders on one of those novelty songs that were pretty common then and got cross over sales

Evolutionary we are probably designed to be fascinated with cold blooded killers for safety reasons. Learning more about these dangerous predators is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s why true crime is so popular.

Definitely. I want to know where this stuff has come from and what other works they have and maybe find a pattern
