I think they would be better off just using a few dedicated radio frequencies to transmit data. As the article indicates, Motorola did it in 1969 on Apollo missions. Of course, it was analog, but digital can be done the same way.

I don't believe a patent is needed. All of these software features can be incorporated into any automobile. I don't see that a patent is even needed.

I think people feel the airline business is on an upswing and they feel that Southwest will do ok moving forward. I'm not airline business fan myself and don't have any airline stocks.

Good paying jobs with large industrial employers that you could work an entire career at. General Motors even had their own accredited college.
