Honestly I love my switch, but I don't think I would buy it again. I'd get a ps5 instead. That being said the portability is amazing, I take holidays in a small van and it always goes with me.
The exclusive games are great but they are very expensive, never go on sale, and are unlikely to ever go down in price. All other games will be cheaper on another console.
The joy con drift is a very common problem and the controllers are expensive to buy and fix. Depending on where you live you can apparently get Nintendo to fix them for free but not where I am (UK)
My ps4 handles every game better, the switch doesn't cope well with big games. Dragon quest builders 2 is really laggy once you get some big structures up for instance.
Holy shit this machine is loud. It sounds like there is an aircraft carrier in the room, and genuinely gives me headaches.
