And my husband corrected me... he would have wanted Springton Manor (https://springtonmanorfarm.com/); which is a County of Chester property, but they have a contract with a catering/event company. So if you go there, you are stuck with their catering and there are some other choices that they restrict (DJs, Bands, etc).

But they definitely have options for if it rains - they have both indoor and outdoor facilities.

Yes, it is separate from the flat state tax. PA also has local taxes that are paid directly to the local municipality. You can look up your rate and tax collection agency here: https://munstats.pa.gov/public/findlocaltax.aspx

As someone who is originally from CA as well, local taxes were very odd to get used to.

I was behind them... but when I pulled up next to them in a turn lane, it was VERY tempting to roll down my window, get him to roll down his window, and say "hey, it's really difficult to see you in this weather with your headlights off". But I resisted the temptation since I only have a 15 minute commute and don't want to get on their (or my township's PD) bad side!
