I get the frustration, but as a RIer is it really wise to be rooting for one of our largest employers and tax payers to lose a ton of money and potentially have to shed a lot of jobs? Especially for the people that work there often are in pretty specialized areas and will have trouble finding work again. I'm also very suspicious about the true source of some of the groundswell.

This year has been extra odd, and we've had winters that start pretty mild like this one but ended with an asston of snow, it might be just cold and grey and it might be a frozen helllscape, way too hard to predict these days.

I actually didn't get it for 2 years while being forced to be out and working in the public, and one of the first non-masked things I went to in public I ended up getting it. If your anectodal evidence is to be a point, so can mine, not that that's at all how science or math work.

At the risk of sounding like a landlord bootlicker....everyone thinks they're good pet owners but many people are awful pet owners and allow the dogs to do whatever they want and that can cause a ton of damage to a place, nevermind contstantly fielding calls from other tenants for barking or loud clacking or whatever because the other tenants get annoyed and it's simply not worth it. As you said, availability is super low so you also have your pick of tenants that don't have pets.

there are some spots around prudence that I've been to that are pretty good. Most people will not give away good quahog spots, especially not online because it really only takes a handful of people knowing your spot for it to get cleaned out.

Narragansett is huge and gets busy so it might be the best place for tips, revival has more niche events which might be the best for "other" culture stuff besides beer, long live has the most well rated beers so if you want to get into understanding craft beer trends, moniker is best during the summer because it's a big patio and you get some time outside

If you're looking for a chill vibe hookah bar like what was popular from the early to mid 2000s that's not really popular anymore, for some reason they all turned into all out night clubs, I would never trust being at them in general, nevermind the quality or cleanliness of their hookahs
