Reply to Stuff to do today? by Bobbito95
I cant help with the first part but I found out about a beer and cheese tasting by liking Edgewoods cheese business on Facebook, a pasta making class from liking litl rhody pasta company's page. I also follow ri food trucks for their events and news. I just start liking small local businesses that are active in communities and eventually they post an event that sounds intresting!

Reply to What's it like living near the T. F. Greene? by RS_EJB
Lived near the warwick public library most of my life so it doesn't bother me much. like other stated it's a low thundery sound. If I have the windows open and the TV on if it's a busy day at the airport I turn the volume up a few notches. I have to say it's nothing like when I would visit my grandparents condo on Rt 1 or my BFs house in appanoag hearing the trains go by, shaking the building, the whistling, ooof I'll take the airport any day over trains.

This is really helpful! I compared with my sister and bro in law that live in MA and he asked these same questions. After looking at my bill he said "You know our paying 44 cents per KWH?" I said yes and that we turned downtown he thermostat and he's like "that's not going to help much when you can go with a different supplier and pay 17 cents per KWH" my mind. Blown. I didn't know there were so many supplier options. I just had a random person come to my house last summer and say "wanna sign up to be part of a solar grid community? It's cheaper than your current rate" (at the time it was like 5 cents cheaper) and I was like sure pffft why not?! I didn't know how easy it was to switch once the rates started to skyrocket would love to see my bill cut in half from 430$ this last month jeeze.

Like you would think that car A with no lights would see car B with no lights and say "man I barely saw that car" and then turn on their lights and it would be a chain reaction but no. I see almost side swipes all the damn time with 2 no light cars. Also why is headlight on but no tail lights an option. I work with cars and can't figure out the point of that!

Reply to Are Dollar General stores and others only found in areas that are perceived as low income? by pem4423
I feel like 15 years ago gas stations were popping up everywhere and like7 years ago banks started popping up everywhere. Now I'd say for the last 3 year dollar store type stores are popping up everywhere. I'm sure in 5 years it will be something else
