Lol making sure the building meets ADA and life safety requirements is like 30% of a contemporary architect's job. I'm only kinda joking.....

The ADA details are often the first sheet on the drawing set after the title page, followed by egress path diagrams.

Agreed, unless you MUST drive in any weather for work or some other reason, winter tires aren't really necessary. I've spent my whole life in the northeast and never really heard about people having them until I moved to Maine. I get that we're slightly further north here but I saw plenty of snow storms in other states. Seems to be a cultural thing, might just be a holdover from when Maine had more cold/snowy winters, but we're headed out of that climate.

For real, Maine is the only state where I consistently see cars and trucks that have slid off the road in RAINY conditions, y'all drive like maniacs and I think you maybe need different outlets for your energy lol

"That all being said, such Maine politicians may ultimately have themselves to blame. As Steve Robinson noted for Maine Wire in October, "Maine Congressional delegation backed HUGE spending increases for agency threatening lobster industry," referring to funding increases for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA). "

This is such bullshit, you can support funding for a federal agency while still having concerns about the way some of their regulations are applied. Also, you can't just blame NOAA or President Biden, they're simply following the letter of the law of the Marine Mammal Protection Act, which was signed into law way back in 1972.
