I saw Samhain twice in NYC. The first time was at Danceteria and then again a year later at The Ritz. During their encore, they came out covered in fake blood, just like the cover of the Initium album. I was standing in front of the stage and got some of it on me during Archangel. The train ride home covered in blood made for an interesting evening.
