Downtown JC by Liberty State Park would probably be ideal. Not sure what your budget is, but maybe somewhere around Zeppelin Hall, Surf City, Golden Cicada. You’d be close to a Light Rail stop and walking/biking distance to the PATH.

That is true. My thought I guess was more like a promenade, or some type of centralized outdoor space for people to gather. IMO that whole area should be a destination, a place to get food, go out to bars, live, work, shop, etc… Just more of a focus on mixed use, and not just residential would be cool.

It makes sense in terms of TOD. Would be great to redevelop as mixed use with a park.

For $10B we could build a new tunnel. Such a waste of money to funnel cars into the same bottleneck. Would make more sense to build a tunnel with an entrance by Liberty Science Center, built for large transport vehicles, then convert the Holland Tunnels into bidirectional pedestrian/bike/micro mobility tunnels. It would reduce maintenance costs associated with vehicles, such as road wear and emission ventilation. Can the Holland Tunnel take increased throughput of even heavier vehicles over the next 50 years?

Sprove Market has the best bagels in downtown. Idk where they source them from, but they are good, and there is never a line. Wonder Bagel is overrated.
