I had a washer and dryer repair guy tell me to stay away from Samsung. He said LG used to be good but in the last 5 years he has had increasing amounts of problems. He liked Maytag, GE, Miele, Speed Queen, Kenmore, and Whirlpool.

I had to get a LG washer dryer combo (The LG WashTower) because it was the only one that would fit in my space that wasn't one of those crappy GE apartment combo's.

It's been 6 months, so far so good but, 6 months 'aint nothin' in the grand scheme of things.

My mom has a KitchenAid mixer from the late 80s thats still going strong. She gave it to me when my dad bought her a brand new one for mothers day one year.

She bugs me to give her the old one back because she doesn't like the new one and swears it's made with inferior parts.
