There are so many hidden gems in Maine (pun intended) (: the Dorr Museum of Natural History in Bar Harbor is small but with some really beautiful taxidermy/dioramas and articulated skeletons. highly recommend if you're into visiting small museums!

A short drive away there’s the Orono bog walk if you like hiking! Rock and Art shop is great. Umami Noodle Bar has good Asian eats if you like noodle bowls and fried dumplings. Seadog is another great restaurant. There’s a comic shop and some neat antique shops. Lots of cafes and such. Urban Air in the Airport mall has a cool arcade. (:

The bird watching in the Acadia region is nice! The Orono Bog Walk as well if you head up north.

Yes and no. If you can get them at a discount, go for it. I got my bean boots from an aunt that worked there for many years, and to be honest, I don’t wear them very often because they’re a real pain for me to put on lol. But they’re a great boot if you’re going somewhere wet

Where about a in Maine are you? In downtown Bangor there’s the Queen City Cinema Club, sounds like a place you’d enjoy. Board games, movies, video games, and nice nerdy people. I’m in my mid 20s and I agree, the social scene for our age group, especially if you’re introverted, is very challenging. I asked around about community spaces and a lot of people recommended church..
