Check out Eddie Bauer, the quality of LL Bean/ Columbia, but they have frequent sales. I have a down parka from there, 50% off, and it’s the warmest jacket I ever owned.

How far down will you be going? South Portland has the Maine Mall, plus a lot of other stores around it. Then there’s Freeport, of course, with LL Bean and lots of other outlets. Augusta also has some pretty good shopping. I’m not too familiar with anything further north of there.

It caught me in November, and I was just starting to feel smug about going so long without catching it. Vaxxed with 2 boosters. Fever, aches, and nausea for me, no cold or flu like symptoms, which really surprised me. I took the meds (name escapes me ATM) and it made me really nauseous. I stopped after the fourth day, just took Tylenolfor the aches. Lots of Pedialyte and soup, and sleep. Took about 2 weeks to get over it fully. Hope you shake it and feel better soon.

I’m seeing so much of this driving around this morning. I’m a small person, but still manage to clear my SUV off completely, with a telescoping broom. Yes, it’s a pain sometimes, but necessary. I’ve had clumps of icy snow hurtled towards my windshield a few times and it’s scary, as well as dangerous. Clean your damn vehicles off!

I like the ones at Buck’s Naked in Freeport, they make the mix there, with 26 ingredients (the bartender told me).
