To the street yes, to the sport field no -- I've seen a dog or two hop that but it too is contained.

Dino's is great for no nonsense service (it's counter ordering) and excellent food. My wife used to live in the North End and she introduced me to it, otherwise it's a place that would go unnoticed.

The Boston Cigar Club in Charlestown is on the other side of the Zakim from the North End.

Stanza dei Sigari is the best cigar bar in the area.
Before other liquor stores caught up, V. Cirace & Sons was one of the few places to get obscure cocktail ingredients. They still get amaro that other stores have never even heard of, but for the ones found elsewhere, the price is a touch high.

DraftKings certainly has the best ad with the Dropkick Murphys-like soundtrack, the old guy from Southie shilling, and the 20-something hours before gtting wasted at Lincoln Tavern yelling "Woo-hoo!" in response.
As for betting purposes, I neither follow sports that closely nor want to burn through my money, so no clue.

That's my blog! It also appeared in my first book Drink & Tell: A Boston Cocktail Book. I remember the moment that the Tommy Noble creator, Dave Cagel, found out that after over a decade, he was finally getting a recipe published in a book!

The owners of the Gaff still have The Indo in Beverly if you still want to support them.
cocktailvirgin t1_jcymrpp wrote
Went there yesterday -- they were crowded on a Sunday at 4 so the neighborhood has taken to them (both a mix of old Gaff regulars who are loyal to the space and folks who remember Deep Ellum). Feels like Deep Ellum from the beer list to the food to the ceiling fans to the layout. Good to have them back.

Middlesex Fells is accessible from the Malden stop on the Orange Line to the 132 bus (or biking that last bit instead of the bus).
Blue Hills will take a bit of time but is accessible from the Mattapan stop on the Red Line to the 716 bus. One of my favorite places in the area to hike though.

Smoke Shop (4 locations with booze with Fort Point being the closest to down town, and Somerville having thr largest collection of American whiskey in New England).
Citizen by Fenway Park with the largest collection of whisk(e)y in town.
Outside of town, the Quiet Few in East Boston has a decent collection but is a destination.

I've definitely seen a car with a few tickets on it. The meter person has a route for the day so if they know that they didn't give you the ticket and they're the only one on that route, that the car is fair game to give another ticket to.

It passes the buck on to the consumer to pay their staff better. However, if kitchen folk were rewarded for taking on busier shifts and sweating, it's a cool idea. Otherwise, they get paid the same per hour for a dead Tuesday lunch as a cranking Saturday night.

Favorite bars to drink at solo that look out for their patrons (female-friendly):
Backbar on the Green Line in Somerville.
Trina's Starlite Lounge on the Somerville/Cambridge line.

Awesome! Glad to hear. I was bartending only on Wednesday, working the door on Thursday, and floating as a manager/barbacking Friday and Saturday so there's a chance I greeted them or gave them water at some point at a minimum.
