I been drinking iced year round. A large at Back Bay is 3.95

South Station a few cents more. Like 4.25?

I don't buy medium.

In 2019, South Station large was $3.82, I think.

Fair enough. Like I was explaining to an irate fellow commuter couple months back about that - this is the symptoms of a society that allowed the Opioid Crisis, and didn't place a serious commitment to mental health. (obviously there's a whole cocktail of contributing factors, but those seem the top two).

I deal with the homeless pretty much daily coming and going through there. I don't like it anymore than anyone else.

It's a goddamn shame, but the real solutions apparently are out of reach of our state and city officials, no?

If the AG drags ass on it, WCVB or any of the other local stations would love to take that dumpster fire of a nonprofit and rake them over the goals all the while throwing buckets and buckets of gasoline in them.

Edit: you will need sources or evidence to corroborate your story, otherwise you're exposing yourself to massive legal liability with these claims.

I have no reason to doubt but no direct reason to believe, either. I have worked at employers in the past which played a little fast and loose with rules, Laws, and ethics in the past, and when sometimes saw folks leave for similar (although less egregious experiences) as yours but with no way to proceed on accountability.

The absence of their heads really alters it so far beyond any appreciation for me that it renders the whole exercise as an incomprehensible waste.

Would it have been so hard to reduce its size by 25% if it meant including Dr. King and his wife?

This is a good, valid question. In Boston, the property owner is responsible for snow removal, not the tenants. Unless the tenants and landlord have an agreement (like I did), to provide snow removal to my landlord's satisfaction.

In my case, my landlord was an 82 y/o Irish immigrant who lived on the 2nd floor of my triple decker and would reward me and my roommates with home made soda bread from time to time.

For a piece of that soda bread, 4 hours of shoveling and salting was NOT too much to ask.
