Reply to Chinese researchers have reported what they claim is the world’s youngest person diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, which may overturn the conventional perception that cognitive impairment rarely occurs in young people. by Wagamaga
My dad has a friend who got early onset Alzheimer’s in his early 50’s. My dad used to take him skiing but he eventually got so bad he couldn’t even figure out how to put his helmet on. After losing him a couple times because he got confused he had to stop taking him.
My dad is in his early 70’s and looking at the two of them you’d think they were the same age. Losing cognitive function like that ages you extremely fast.

Gonna be honest, I’ve never heard of getting regular tires studded. I’ve always had a regular set and a set of studded ones I swap over to in the winter on cars that needed them.

Can they not just post a cop at the last spot where they’re able to turn around to stop them? Half of most police departments just sit in their cars and do speed traps, they can pull one off to do the same thing but actually useful.

A pretty large garter snake, they’re completely harmless
You can let them bite your finger and hang them off of your hand, they’re too small to hurt you but they’ll latch on.

It’s a soul crushing job with an extremely high turnover rate, most people can’t handle it for very long. Unfortunately that means the ones who don’t actually care about the kids last a lot longer in the field.
