Sounds a lot like my reaction a couple years ago after beating Persona 5 and Nier: Automata back to back. In my case, I was kind of ruined on gaming as a whole for a while after that, they both felt like they were on a different level and everything else would be a letdown. And when I did get back into games, I almost had to go towards the complete opposite, playing either accidentally bad games, "so bad it's good" games like No More Heroes, or just low player effort games like tower defense stuff, Dynasty Warriors, Tony Hawk, Need for Speed, Borderlands, or (ironically) Diablo. Just stuff I could veg out to that was obviously not even aiming to be among the AAA best, so I could avoid the comparisons and just take the games for what they were, usually dumb fun.

Definitely most if not all the songs from August and Everything After by Counting Crows. Even the upbeat stuff like Mr. Jones and Rain King betrays an underlying depression and dissatisfaction with the pain of life. If I had to pick, Raining in Baltimore, Anna Begins, and Round Here always hit me hard.
