I remember a case from decades ago where someone was trespassing and intending on robbing an old woman, and then slipped on ice on her property and ended up in the hospital. They successfully sued the old woman for not maintaining her property.

Obligatory IANAL, so I don't know the intricacies here or of the situations are comparable. I also don't remember the details of this case. Would love to hear from someone more knowledgeable than me on this.

I did this! I haven't needed it yet, but someday I will, and I will be happy I have them.

Also, we hired a third party inspector. I highly, HIGHLY recommend it. He took 3D panoramas of every room before the drywall went up.

Right, exactly. And if I remember correctly from my days as an engineering student, there is a huge benefit in speed to having the memory physically close to the CPU, as it is in the M series processors. The same reason L1, L2, and L3 cache exist. The tradeoff is that it isn't user upgradable.
