Neil Young - Tonight's The Night
Is a kind of tribute album for two of Neil Young's friends that died from drug related issues. It is a very sad album and Neil Young basically seems to be singing drunk the whole album

I think it is a song that reflects a time period and a style of music pretty well.
It's like Take On Me from A-Ha. It isn't by far the best song of the 80s, but it has the vibes of that period.

The Golden Ass by Apuleius
It is basically a comedy/fantasy book with some tacky jokes. Though the ending is a bit weird.
Also the Short Stories from Guy de Maupassant are very easy to read.

Reply to Tell me about the concept of an album that you think is brilliant. by akacoline
The whole concept of the Pinball Wizard, a deaf, and blind kid who play pinball and the weird spiritual stuff is pretty great.
There's No Place Like America Today, by Curtis Mayfield beside not being a real concept album really pass the vibes of living in the city and going through hard times.
