this would imply a theoretical instant stop situation, where the car it self
and whatever it hits, would not deform. If there's any crumpling of things going on, the car would not stop in an instance, and instead slow down really fast. this compensates for moving over the 90" point depending on how much time it takes for the baby to reach the 90" angle, vs the time it takes the car to stop.

my guess would be, the baby would be the safest person in a frontal impact car crash because the hammock is somewhat stretchy. a frontal impact would move the hammock forward, and stay there long enough to stop going to the roof. but the baby has no real impact injury because there is no travel distance for the baby. Unless ofcourse the hammock is not strong enough. Then there will be a baby sized projectile going through the front window.

if i were to guess: the locks aren't locks but prevent the window from openening too far. They should move pretty free up and down, and by pushing the window out, they move upward.

Can you remove the screen to get a better view? In my experience, windows sometimes get stuck. especially if You have some foam insulation on it. Usually all it requires is some percussive maintenance: remove screen, turn the crank up to where it meets resistance, then just whack the window frame with the palm of your hand on the bottem, see if it comes loose. Don't use tools or hit too hard. Glass can break. Oh, also check the outside. Maybe someone screwed it to the frame?

my approach to this would be: first remove everything that can be removed. You want space.

next up, most pipes have some movement room. The only ones you need to be carefull with, are the water lines.

Adding on to that: water pipes aren't as dangerous as you might think. You can always remove them, and reconnect later. worst what could happen is a wet floor. Just make sure, befor you start doing that, you need to add some endcaps on the open ends or you will have no running water untill you're done.
