Uhh, average wage doesnt really compare for globally available electronics products.... Im pretty sure it would cost around the same there as well, if it were not discontinued.
Also india has like billions of people... Most of whom are uneducated, and mostly they are the ones with 5 or more children.... So average is not a very good statistic.
Also avg wage is low because cost of living is low. My parents sustain on 200gbp a month... We have our own place (so no rent)
When i got the camera i was new in my career so i took the no cost emi offer from amazon lol and paid it over 3 months

D3300 is an entry level dlsr. It cost me approx 250 gbp at the time of purchase for the camera, bag, sd card and the 18-55mm lens.
I took it at f1.8 with iso 800 and 6 sec exposure. Lens is a 50mm prime lens, nikkor 50mm f1.8g, with manual focus(for the d3300)

Inspired to post because of u/vpsj 's recent post on this sub using cimilar cheap equipment.
No stacking, just a clear post monsoon sky and a short exposure to avoid trails.

My stand for this was the top of my car, using the lens cap to point higher up a bit. Other wise i use the amazon basics tripod.
I use a IR remote to time the shots so that i dont make them blurry by pressing the buttons on the camera
