The level of paranoia and prickliness towards any criticism especially relating to Xinjiang is interesting. It doesn't show a strong and confident China as Xi and his western apologist would like to portray. It shows a regime that's desperately trying to keep a lid on thisngs and a fear of a spark that would destabilize the state.
