Shit you know what - i retract my statement. I still regularly revisit these films:

Congo, Chain Reaction, The Ghost and the Darkness, Air Force One, The Edge, U.S. Marshals, The Mummy, The Sum of All Fears. Hollow Man.

I loved what GDT did with Nightmare Alley. I love all old noir films, but the violence sometimes feels so dated, which can mute the climax. I can't think of any examples to remake, but I just thought what he did felt so potent. I mean he usually punctuates his endings with violence, which is why maybe it fit so naturally into his oeuvre.
