Went through the comment section first just to make sure my first thought wasn’t only me. But Grindr is known for being a straight up hookup app. My roommate is a gay man and he’s explained it to me a little bit.
from what I’ve seen between him and all my other gay friends, a lot of the interactions are straight up like meet up get some head or give head. Or maybe dinner and fuck. But that app, most the people on there are straight to the point.
I only say it because I’ve seen a couple interviews that didn’t quite go out and say it, but alluded to it, and a few articles. But at this point it’s all speculation from every one until we all get definitive facts.
I totally agree, it def doesn’t seem like a straight forward reboot is mainly what I’m trying to say. It really feels like they purposely are poking fun at Hollywood tropes.

I’m surprised it’s doing this well. I knew it would do pretty good, but I didn’t expect it to be on par to Break the original record lol
