I agree Ted shouldn’t have ended up with Robin. In fact Barney and Robin shouldn’t have spent the whole season getting married just to get divorce. I was ok with the mom dying. I just wish we had more story with them too. Season 11 should have been “How I married your mother”

Ending the last episode at the train station is what worked for me. Ted meeting the mom is still one of the sweetest moments.

It still hold up. I felt losing Lex hurt it a bit. Also the whole plot with Jimmy Olsen was a big confusing.
